Ecobuild: Regeneration Film Festival

bere:architects' Retrofit for the Future film will be screened on Thursday 7th March as part of Ecobuild's first Regeneration Film Festival, which will be opened by Jonathan Porritt.

The festival, curated by designer Henrietta Lynch, comprises a selection of archive and new films on the broad theme of regeneration. As this is the first year for this event all the films being shown have been invited. Films for 2014 will be chosen from competition entries with the winner being awarded 'The Gold Brick' award. Further details of the competition will be announced at Ecobuild.

The aim of this festival is to show the unique power that film has to communicate the achievements and struggles of delivering a sustainable built environment. It is also to stimulate those involved in delivering this environment to document their activities through film and animation and communicate their endeavours to a wider audience.

Our Retrofit for the Future film is shown as part of Home, which starts at 14:30. These last four films of the afternoon are followed at 15:45 by a Panel Discussion, chaired by Henrietta Lynch, with Michael Yorke (Upside Films), Katherine Clarke (MUF), Margaret Dickenson (Marker) and Chayley Collis (Green Building Store).

Further details of all the films being shown can be found on Ecobuild's website:
