GHA Passivhaus Site Visit: The Camden Passivhaus

Passivhaus site visit: bere:architects. (Sponsored by the Technology Strategy Board)

Camden, London

Camden Passivhaus is the first certified Passivhaus in London, setting a new benchmark for energy efficient design for the city.
PHPP was used from the start of the project to determine the optimum house position and percentage and orientation of glazing.
Biodiversity was very important for this project which incorporates two wild flower meadow green roofs, a south facing planted garden and an ivy covered gabion stone wall. The property has undergone post-construction testing and post-occupancy evaluation has begun.
