Modern renovation and extension of a Notting Hill house, inspired by the under-stated elegance of Scandinavian modernism
This large family house in Notting Hill has been completely refurbished and extended to create rooms that are elegant, comfortable and calmly sophisticated. Our work is inspired by the under-stated elegance of Scandinavian modernism. All details have been carefully worked through to give lasting pleasure.
We aim for perfection in every detail from the size and location of a shadow gap to the polished stainless-steel fixings for the leather-clad staircase handrail, to the bespoke furniture and the leather and stainless-steel door handles that we designed and made. Natural materials predominate. Colours are extremely gentle on the senses and daylight bathes the sculpted forms of the curvaceous staircase.
The design avoids the vagaries of fashion and aims to be timeless.
